You know when you first have to go without something is part of your day to day life you think man that is going to be hard. Then you realize it is not so bad. One day this "thing" is put back in your life for just a short moment (lets say a day or so) and you think man I am glad I dont have to deal with this every day. That is kind of how I feel about a car in L.A. When I moves out here I did not have a car. Then the team let me borrow the van for a day or so before we went on our next trip since everyone would be leaving from the house where some of the riders and myself live. After one or two short trips. I began to think to myself "man it is so much easier to get around on the bike than the car, and sometimes faster.
The bike is also nice to get around on since the weather is still cool in the morning and evenings.
Till next time.

cars = the suck. too bad this country was built on cheap oil and poor poor urban/suburban planning. i hope with exploding gas prices that we will find more people on bicycles/public transport. what i really admire is people who train/work a bunch and also find the energy to commute by bike.
I went without toilet paper for a week once! It was a bit of a mess but at least I saved some trees. I am currently using corn husks.
