I have not really posted a blog entry that tells a story in a while.
There is an experience that keeps fondly re-surfacing in my mind over these past couple months.
Probably about a week before I moved up to Richmond, Va., my DAD and I made a short trip up to Leakey, TX. This is just down the road from Lost Maples State park. To get some fishing and riding in. The trip in and of itself was not long but was really cool, in that me and my DAD had an chance to hangout in the hillcountry, without everyday distraction and could spend the first half of the day riding (me) and fishing (dad) and then the second half go for a hike in the afternoon then go into town for dinner or grill out, just spending quality that we usually dont get to do even when I am in TX.

Dad was just talking about that trip last night! He mentions it often, which means he had as much fun as you...come to Colorado and we can do the same! miss you
Sounds awesome, Matt. I'm so glad you and dad made time for the trip together. Dad loves fishing now, you'll have to pick up Fly Fishing too!
