Well, the new shoes are in. Shimano 220's for his year and I like them. Partly because they are white, but also because they have a really stiff sole and pretty comfortable upper. Also, the team jackets are in, or should I say it is on my body right now and the rest of them are sitting on the living room/bedroom floor right now. now you are probably asking. There must be alot of jackets to be on both the living room floor and in the bedroom. I would say yes there are alot of jackets 46 to be exact. Since Mike G. has one and I have one on right now. How there are enough to be in both rooms is that Jorge, Markus and myself have the living room as our bedroom in the house where we are staying. Normally this would seem odd but it has become just another room for sleeping and watching the news on the t.v. that Matias let us borrow for the year.
Other news. I put white bar tape on the bike today since I broke my white fork in the crash a few weeks ago and had to replace it with a black one since cannondale could not get a white one here in time for the next race. So, the whiteness needed to be rebalanced with the new tape. Since there is an uphill time trial Friday I am trying to figure out how many parts I can take off the bike to make it lighter and still be legal for racing. Right now all I can think of is the bottle cages and possible one brake caliper, but then I have to descend the 4 miles of twisty road so I am extremely doubtful that there will be any modifications on the stopping power of the bike. On the note of TT's. I have to say thank you to Jack from Jack and Adams along with everyone else who made it possibly for me to have Time Trial bike for this season. The bike should be arriving here in the next day or two. I am really excited. Once I receive my sisters camera I will post pictures to go along with these stories.
Thanks for dropping in
Matt

I need your address!!!
you sound like sam, talking about white bar tape like that.
Is white bar tape heavier or lighter than black bar tape? Was the white fork lighter than the black one? Im trying to figure out how the loss of the white fork threw your bike out of balance? Are you going down the road in a perpetual front wheel wheelie?
