Today was the Piru (PIE - RU) Time Trial. Where Matias, Marco, Tom, Matt Davis, Adrian and myself had our go against the clock. The course was rolling out and back with a headwind coming back and what seemed to be just over a false flat. I want to thank Disco Stu for allowing me to borrow his TT bike for this race and Valley of the Sun coming up in a week. We arrived at the course a little closer to the start time than I usually prefer but then we did not know how they were going to structure the send offs. I ended up having about 45minutes to get dressed and warm up. Ended up that I was able to get my body going enough to put in a descent ride and finish behind one of my team mates. So Kahala La Grange went 1st and 2nd on the day.
The course was set really close to a dry lake in between two smaller mountain ranges. So very picturesque, when not running around trying to fill bottles, pin my numbe and warmup all at the same time. I thinkg the day turned out really good in preperation for this coming weekend and getting to spend some more time with teammates in a race scenario.
